Joint Public Comment on Phase 2 of the Environmental Justice Scorecard

In late January 2023, EPIC co-authored a public comment led by World Resources Institute (WRI) in response the White House Council on Environmental Quality’s (CEQ) Request for Information (RFI) on revisions to the Environmental Justice Scorecard. Our recommendations for Phase 2 revisions elaborate the technical and user-oriented changes we see as vital to meeting the Scorecard’s overarching goals—as well as its potential to drive forward the climate change-related priorities detailed in several of President Biden’s recent Executive Orders.
